Come Be Seen
It’s that time of the month again.
Tomorrow, Tuesday May 19th at 12PM (SLT), the third edition of BE SEEN opens at the PsyGallery of Twister Grut.
If you’ve been following this blog, you already know how much I love photographing our nightlife culture. Clubs, crowds, moments, lighting, people trying to look casual while being impossibly beautiful. This edition of BE SEEN is another selection of those moments, enlarged far beyond their original life and placed on gallery walls for all of us to stare at thoughtfully.
The opening party is always one of my favorite moments of these exhibitions and I’d genuinely love to see you there. Even if we’ve never met and you only know me through the questionable nightlife reporting I publish here on a regular basis.
DJ Nikki Arentire will be on the decks while everyone walks around pretending to be a serious art critic for at least five minutes before the dancing starts again. There’s no dress code. Some people like to go a little formal for these events, others arrive exactly as they are, both work perfectly fine.
