I don't know about you, but I'm slowly getting back on my feet.
I needed Monday to recover. I have absolutely no recollection of what I did that day, and if my calendar hadn't informed me that yesterday was Tuesday, I wouldn't even have known what day I'd woken up on, but after two days of recovery, I finally felt ready to give everyone what they'd been missing.
Me.
Fortunately, while I'd been busy doing whatever it was I was doing, my team had made themselves useful. I have to give them credit for that. My third assistant had taken all my Halloween outfits to the dry cleaners, my regular wardrobe was ready to go, and they'd even managed to find me some new things to wear. Well, Tamsyn had.

So nothing too ambitious, you understand. Just a little tour to ease myself back into society. To see everyone again. Or, more importantly, to allow everyone to see me. And oh, how wonderful it was to be back to normal. No more brimstone. No more smashed pumpkins, fake blood, graveyards, haunted churches or people wandering around with axes sticking out of their heads. Well, fewer of them, anyway. This is still a weird place, after all.
Mostly though it was the familiar smell of stale beer, sweaty dance floors, and the suspicious corners where people disappear for twenty minutes and return so much more relaxed.
I did love Halloween this year, as you've probably gathered from the ridiculous number of photographs I've inflicted upon you over the past few days. But I like returning to our usual routines a lot. So here are a few from my little post-Halloween rehabilitation tour.
