Better Late Than Sober
"Doreen, you're late."
Not something that usually bothers me. I mean, that doesn't happen to me. My body, my choice, right? And those funky colorful ones aren't the only pills I'm taking. Call it a hedonist lifestyle if you want. For me, it's just mine.
So it's probably no surprise that I had an epic weekend at the Friendship Valley Music Festival. I already told you about the first day of FVMF, and yes, you've had to wait a little for day two. If you do think I'm late, well... I'll make it up to you.
Because I also told you about my camera. About how it worked miracles that weekend. And on the second day, it really showed me just how much it loved FVMF.
It had me flying all over Friendship Valley, chasing people, moments, looks, movement and whatever else caught my eye. It gave me all the love I could handle and, being the person you know I am, obviously I'm sharing it with you.
Of course I wasn't there for every hour, every DJ or everyone who showed up. I tried. I wanted to, obviously. But I'll confess something to you here, because we're friends: I just couldn't. The hours I was there, though, gave me everything I needed and considerably more.
I've said it already: the area, the build, the DJs and their fantastic sets, but most of all, the people. God, there were so many people. Some posing. Some dancing. Some completely unaware of me. Some looking straight into my lens as if they knew exactly what they were doing to it. So yes, I'm late. But I brought pictures.
Quite a lot of them, actually.
Consider this me making it up to you.
FVMF, day two. Through my lens.
