It's My Rezday!

The weekend is here, darlings, and the parties are starting to line up. Just look at tonight. The Drip and VICE for instance, both have wonderful things planned for you, and I strongly suggest you go and have a look. And then tomorrow we have Poolapalooza! There's no shortage of places to have a fabulous time, and I wouldn't dream of telling you otherwise.

Well, not usually.

Because there is one party tonight that I'd particularly like to draw your attention to. For a slightly more personal reason.

SONANCE

And it's not really just a party. It's a celebration.

You see, a little while ago, my dear friend Serana and I discovered that our rezdays are almost on top of each other. Hers was yesterday, mine is tomorrow, and so naturally we decided that today would be the perfect moment for the universe to implode.

But there's more to celebrate.

After months away, DJ LIO is making his triumphant return to the decks, and, perhaps more importantly, to his family here. I've missed him, and I know I'm not the only one. It'll be wonderful to have him back where he belongs, surrounded by the people who love him and the music that brings us together.

And to get us started, we have DJ ELAY, who'll be opening the party in that wonderful way only she can.

So yes, we've managed to squeeze quite a lot into one night. Two rezdays, one homecoming, two fabulous DJs and, if all goes according to plan, a lot of dancing in a place that Katt has transformed into something absolutely spectacular!

Just look at this picture. What you're looking at is SONANCE, still empty, waiting for everyone to arrive. And this is always the moment when I start worrying.

What if nobody shows up?

I know, ridiculous. Me, worrying about whether people will come to a party I'm hosting. But it happens. Every single time. There's that thing about looking at an empty dance floor before an event that makes even someone with my rather impressive confidence start imagining the worst.

And this time, it doesn't help that I've already heard from several people who never received the invitations I sent them. Honestly, this world and its communication systems… We can create entire cities, fly through the air, move across continents and change our appearance in seconds, but delivering a simple invitation still seems to be beyond us sometimes.

So let me make one thing absolutely clear.

You're all invited.

Yes, you too. Whether you know Serana, LIO, ELAY, Katt or me personally, whether we've danced together a hundred times or haven't met yet, you're welcome. We share this wonderful world together. We might as well celebrate it together, too.

And speaking of Katt...

That photograph above doesn't even begin to show what she's done for us. When Serana mentioned, rather casually, that she liked glow, Katt apparently took that as a personal challenge. She single-handedly transformed SONANCE into something quite extraordinary. An overwhelming, luminous experience that has to be seen to be appreciated. All because someone said, "I like glow."

I'm almost afraid to find out what would happen if I told Katt I liked diamonds.

So come as you are. Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous. There isn't a dress code, and I certainly wouldn't want to tell you what to put on.

I'm generally much more interested in what you take off.

But if you're looking for a little inspiration, try to match the glow. Katt has certainly given you plenty to work with.

So, darlings, here's the plan:
