London Calling
I’m sure many of you have been to London. That busy place with loud people, weird fashion choices, impossible traffic and enough neon signs to convince you that whatever is behind the next door is exactly what your wallet has been waiting for. It’s noisy, chaotic, full of character and if you don’t immediately hate it, you even might end up loving it.
What some of you may not know is that there’s another London. One that’s prettier, friendlier, and, between you and me, much better suited to our kind of people.
I’ve mentioned it before when I wrote about World Music Day. It’s where The Drip occasionally hosts events and every single time I end up wondering why I don’t visit more often. Elegant streets, beautiful architecture and enough class for me to feel I belong there. The surroundings really complement my beauty and impeccable sense of style.
Another advantage is the clientele.
London attracts successful men. The sort that spend their weekdays moving millions around before lunch. Bankers. Venture capitalists. Traders. Risk managers. Men who stare at graphs all day and desperately need someone to help lower their stress levels once the markets close.
That’s where I come in.
Nothing beats waking up the morning after a profitable night of discussing spreads, taking a long position, successfully executing a fill order and celebrating excellent market performance with a nice sausage for breakfast. Diversification really is important.
I had an absolutely wonderful Saturday wandering through London. I even remembered to take a few pictures while everyone else was busy managing their portfolios. The rest of what happened that night… well… that’s probably better left for another story.
