Carry On, People
Really. Nothing happened, and there’s absolutely nothing to see here. Well, apart from these pictures I took yesterday at Sonance, obviously.
It felt like a fitting place to go after coming home. Back among faces I know, Severus doing the beats and people who, thankfully, know better than asking too many questions. But, and I need to be honest here, Sonance wasn't my first stop. I first went to have another look at that basement I discovered underneath my house last week. Right before I... ehm... left for a little voluntary retreat and some much-needed reflection.
That basement is turning out to be quite something, it's dark, there's a small dance floor, a bar, and... stuff. Quite a lot of stuff, actually. You really should come and see it for yourself. And don't worry, I fully intend to take a good number of you down there. Just wait your turn, okay?
Now, where was I?
Oh yes. Sonance.
I hadn't really checked what was happening there yesterday. I figured I'd just show up, look gorgeous, take some pictures and remind everyone what they'd been missing. Turns out it was hip-hop night. Which was pretty obvious as I walked in.
I wasn't exactly dressed for the occasion, but then again, I always look fabulous, and I think it's important that people understand that fashion trends don't dictate what I wear. I dictate fashion trends. So, for future hip-hop nights at Sonance, consider whatever I was wearing yesterday the new dress code. You're welcome.
Anyway, I'm sure you're all very happy I'm back.
So am I.
And before anyone asks, no, I'm not going to explain where I've been, what happened, or why certain people may or may not be looking for me. Nothing happened. Carry on.
